Briefly about herself:

"Despite my continuous efforts I must significantly limit the amount of time spent playing the saxophone, because of my neighbors’ complaints. I use the resulting excess of energy to cycle every day, do Krav Maga and horseride."

Career history:

She is a graduate from the Department of Economic Sciences (WNE) at the University of Warsaw (2002). In 2007 she received a PhD degree in economic sciences and was employed in the position of an assistant professor in WNE at the University of Warsaw. Her scientific interests include environmental and natural resources economy, and international trade.

Scholarships and awards:

  • Marie Curie Fellowship, Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM): Climate Change Modelling and Policy Research Programme, Mediolan
  • She studied at the University of Potsdam in Germany as a Socrates/Erasmus student
  • She attended the Annual European Summer School in Resource and Environmental Economics for PhD students organized by EAERE (European Association of Environmental and Resource Economist) and FEEM – Dynamic Models in Economics and the Environment
